    **Job Description**

    **Purpose**

    The CHEP LTL Specialist will be responsible for executing multiple less-than-truckload deliveries and collections daily. They will be responsible for route and volume optimization through the development of customer and internal support partnerships. They will also be responsible for identifying, engaging and securing additional collection volume where applicable within their service area. Position will be based in Albany, GA or surrounding area. ****Starting** hourly pay $18 per hour **

    **Major/Key Accountabilities**

    Operate a CHEP owned box truck (or similar equipment) in compliance with all DOT Regulations and CHEP Safety requirements

    Execute deliveries and collection of empty pallets (and possibly other assets) at locations provided by CHEP as efficiently as possible

    Work with local customers on program compliance in order to drive efficiencies and increase collection volumes

    Document all delivery and collection data (times, mileages, volumes, customer comments, etc.) and communicate to CHEP LTL support personnel

    Visit potential collection locations to explain the CHEP LTL Program, gather data/information with the ultimate goal being adding locations to the Programs customer base

    Identify and execute against continuous improvement opportunities
