    Associate Professor of Dental Public Health – Full-Time
    Dent Med-Dental Public Health – Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh –

    The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (UPSDM) is accepting applications for a full-time tenure stream Associate Professor faculty position, in the Department of Dental Public Health. The primary responsibility of this position would be to serve as a full-time didactic instruction of dental students and residents, research, scholarly activities, and service.

    We are seeking candidates with core training in Health Psychology whose research complements and builds on our established expertise in dental public health and evidence-based dentistry. The substantive area of potential research interest includes implementation research. Candidates who have a track record of forming research collaborations with outside institutions are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates will mentor research students at the undergraduate and predoctoral levels, deliver didactic content on the behavioral sciences both within a dedicated course and across other courses, and direct the Standardized Patient program. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field by January 1, 2024.

The UPSDM is located on the University's main campus in Pittsburgh, contiguous with the other five health science schools. The School of Dental Medicine works as a key collaborative partner with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).
