- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee and manage the nursing department's day-to-day operations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care provided.
- Assist in recruitment, training, and supervision of nursing staff.
- Evaluate and monitor resident care plans, making necessary adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and actively participate in accreditation processes.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY.
- Proven experience in nursing management within a long-term care facility.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and staff.
