    Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing

    Location: Woorbury, NY

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team.

    Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Assistant Director of Nursing to play a key role in our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, a passion for delivering high-quality care, and the ability to lead a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee and manage the nursing department's day-to-day operations.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care.
    • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care provided.
    • Assist in recruitment, training, and supervision of nursing staff.
    • Evaluate and monitor resident care plans, making necessary adjustments as needed.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.
    • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and actively participate in accreditation processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY.
    • Proven experience in nursing management within a long-term care facility.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and staff.
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
