    POWER Engineers, Incorporated is seeking a full-time Contracts Specialist to work within the Operations Legal Services Department.

    This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have strong analytical skills and like independent work, or for individuals with a legal background who are not looking to actively practice law, but still want a rewarding career in the legal field.

    As a Contracts Specialist, you will review and analyze contractual risks relating to all aspects of POWERs business, including in project agreements, subcontracts, and non-disclosure agreements.

    You will provide guidance regarding contract interpretation issues and advise on alternative approaches to mitigate risk. You will participate in negotiating contract terms and providing explanations when warranted.

    This role also provides guidance to POWER staff in the preparation of form contracts, including reviewing and developing contract language, and coordinating and/or issuing POWER contracts.

    You will also build and maintain effective working relationships with internal clients, including Project Managers and other stakeholders.

    You may also assist in maintaining contract files in conjunction with POWERs contract management software (Cobblestone) and managing hard and electronic files as needed.

    This position offers the ability to work remotely from any location in the U.S, with the possibility to work full-time/hybrid in any U.S.

    That might seem contradictory to some, but it works for usThe pay range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
