    The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will provide craniofacial and maxillofacial care to children and adults, as well as general plastic and reconstructive care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.

    Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (or equivalent), and 4) have completed an accredited fellowship or equivalent training in plastic surgery.

    We especially welcome applicants with fellowship training in craniofacial surgery and who are comfortable performing microsurgery.
