The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is committed to supporting children and families by delivering tailored services and solutions to meet their specific needs. CFCE is continuously evolving to better serve the community. In 2012, CFCE expanded to incorporate a comprehensive health care center, The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center.

The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), provides various preventive health services, including general and sick care for all ages, OB/GYN, dental services, nutrition programs, and mental health and substance abuse treatment for individuals of all ages.

As a Clinical Therapist, you will offer weekly individual and family therapy sessions to clients, utilizing appropriate treatment approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments of clients referred for therapy, under guidance from the clinical supervisor, ensuring authorization compliance
Create and manage appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with clients and families
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings with other team members such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers
Consult with medical professionals or specialists on treatment strategies
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions as assigned
Complete all necessary documentation promptly, including progress notes, outcome measures, and certifications
Prepare progress reports, summaries, and discharge summaries as needed

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related behavioral science field
LMHC or LCSW certification preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years working with mentally and emotionally challenged children and/or adults
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Ten Eleven (Electronic Health Record)

Desired Skills:

Capability to counsel individuals, families, or groups on psychological or emotional issues, utilizing assessment techniques
Ability to help families identify and resolve conflicts and anxieties
Expertise in teaching strategies to manage family conflicts and changes
Aptitude to assess and diagnose clients' mental health conditions
