- Responsible for the receipt and effective evaluation of 9-1-1 emergency calls to determine the problem and nature of the call.
- Dispatch a variety of emergency response units to notify police, fire department staff, and other agencies concerning incidents when needed.
- Conduct and provide system reports regarding access of all critical facilities.
- Verify the location, call back number for the incident, and determine the patient's chief complaint, age, level of consciousness and breathing status.
- Provide emergency medical dispatching assistance to callers with medical emergencies.
