    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

    Location: Glendale Heights, IL

    Position Overview: As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. This role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including moving and installing plant equipment, performing plumbing and building repairs, and constructing safety equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and be comfortable working on mechanical and electrical systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Move and install plant equipment as needed.
    • Perform plumbing, painting, and building repairs.
    • Install and wire air and water lines within the manufacturing plant.
    • Construct guards and safety equipment for machines.
    • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as necessary.
    • Conduct general maintenance tasks within the facility grounds.

    Hiring Manager Notes: Strongly Preferred:

    • 3+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance within an industrial environment.
    • Experience with plant equipment installation, plumbing, painting, building repairs, and general maintenance.
    • Ability to install and wire air and water lines, as well as install test tanks.
    • Flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.

    Pluses:

    • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
