    Description
    Internship Overview

    The goal is to develop an intern position into a full-time employee with a career path in mind. During this internship, this person will be exposed to various departments, such as Research & Development, Quality Control, Technical Services, and possibly others.

    Results of Internship: creates a foundational understanding of:
    • Physical ink properties and basic ink chemistry (various technologies)
      • Polymers, Monomers, Photoinitiator's, Additives
    • UV/Led Curable Ink formulation strategies
    • Lab testing, analytical, and processing equipment
    • The digital printing process, printheads, and equipment
    • Nazdar IT Systems and LIMS Platform
    • Established relationships with our staff
    • Develop global products that go to market and support our growth
    Focus - Digital Ink Formulations

    The main reason for this hire is to provide experience within the inkjet printing market and learn about the printing ink industry.
    • Execute project requests provided by R&D for UV/LED curable inkjet inks
      • New developments or reformulation of existing products for compliance
      • Characterization of fluid and film properties
      • Sustainability
    • Support technical service in applications testing of inks developed
    • Utilize Laboratory Information System to support the development of AI platform
    Qualifications and Skills:
    • Working towards or graduating with a bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.
    • Self-driven, results-oriented with a clear focus on high-quality results.
    • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to perform the job according to pre-established safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
    • Eagerness to learn and ability to adapt to changing priorities
