- Maintains accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of these items.
- Answers questions from employees relative to standard policies and codes of conduct; refers more complex questions to HR Director or management.
- Prepares HR reports such as performance review schedules, employee classification audits, and employee birthdays and anniversaries.
- Processes weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now software; answers employee and management questions, fixes processing errors, and distributes checks.
- Processes required paperwork for Unemployment Insurance, Workers Comp, Paid Family Leave, benefits enrollment, wage increases, onboarding, offboarding, and other related employment matters.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management. ADP knowledge/experience highly preferred.
- Associate's degree in related field required.
- Prior related admin experience preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
