    Description

    Responsible
    for the performance of assigned contracts, systems, and equipment including,
    but not limited to, Automated People Mover Systems (APMs), Dynamic Signage, Elevators,
    Escalators, and Moving Sidewalks. Monitor
    contractor compliance with contract requirements, and maximize system/equipment
    availability, reliability, efficiency, and safety.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's
      degree in business administration, Engineering, or a closely related field, and
      six (6) years experience in an operations and maintenance organization to
      include managing multiple projects/contracts and technical expertise in
      assigned areas of responsibility or an equivalent combination of education, training,
      and experience. Airport experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes in assigned areas of responsibilities.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information, comprehend complex systems, and develop a logical approach to dealing with technical problems.
    • Responsible for the performance of assigned contracts,
      systems, and equipment including, but not limited to, Automated People Mover
      Systems (APMs) and Elevators, Escalators, Moving Sidewalks.
    • Ability to provide leadership and effective supervision to both management and technical staff.
    • Ability to maintain professionalism and diplomacy at all times while interacting with Aviation Authority management, employees and contractors.
    • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite and scheduling software required; experience with a CMMS system (Maximo preferred) and/or Auto CAD desired.
    • Strong in the areas of reliability, accuracy, organizational and critical thinking skills
      Ability to work independently.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to write technical specifications and contract documents.
    • Valid
      Florida driver's license.
