About the job:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate adult psychiatrist to join Lane County Behavioral Health located in Eugene, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to work with vulnerable patients in the public mental health system, providing psychiatric assessments and consultations while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. The position also allows for telemedicine work from home and offers a great work/life balance.

About Lane County Behavioral Health:

This division serves over 1,600 individuals with behavioral health conditions, emphasizing a continuum of care and fostering a culture of resilience and recovery. The organization is also part of the NHSC Loan Repayment Program.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Requirements:

MD or DO degree from an approved school of medicine
Completion of an approved psychiatry residency program
Board certification as a psychiatrist or eligibility for certification within 24 months
Current Oregon MD or DO license
DEA Certificate
CPR/BLS certification by time of hire

Additional Information:

Candidates will undergo a criminal offender information record check
Employment is subject to passing a drug screening test
Lane County will validate license and certification status during the screening process
