    About This Opportunity

    General Description:

    Provide leadership, training, coaching and professional consultation (for corporate, franchise and licensed stores, within a designated Operating Zones. Manage the Zone Asset Protection Field Team in performing the many tasks in the Department's four pillar strategy for effective asset protection.

    Duties And Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the field team's research and investigation processes, using corporate generated reports and Exception Based Reporting.
    • Assure professional case and research-package development and effective case closures, with recoveries and appropriate documentation and follow up.
    • Manage the Division's Inventory Audit Process, with the third-party audit providers, including scheduling, legal and contractual requirements, complaint resolution and invoice processing.
    • Direct the field team's multiple functions in carrying out the Asset Protection Department's Four Pillar Strategy for Revenue and Profit Assurance, Shortage Control, Incident-Investigation Management and the Safety Program.
    • Manages the monthly review of all of the Asset Protection data to support the Asset Protection Department's four pillar strategy for Revenue and Profit Assurance, Shortage Control, Incident and Investigation Management and the Safety Program.
    • Initiate and maintain effective alliances with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and governmental regulatory agencies to ensure 7-Eleven's favorable relationships and exemplary trademark reputation.
    • Provide immediate response, support and professional consultation to field operations following critical incidents of crime or disaster that impact store associates, franchisees, guests, licensees and 7-Eleven assets.
    • Manage, train, coach and evaluate a designated Division Asset Protection Field Team, while managing the Field Team's operating and audit budgets.

    Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:

    • Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
    • Experience: 3 years in asset protection management position responsibility preferred.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of ordinances, statutes, laws and regulations governing criminal and civil cases encountered by a retail business, including age-restricted sales and the Patriot Act.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience as an effective public speaker.
    • Thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and various database management, business intelligence software and retail systems.
    • Strong analytical knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of retail financial management.

    Pay Range:

    In connection with Washington's "Labor Code 432.3," 7-Eleven, Inc. provides the following information:

    The Zone Asset Protection Manager role salary Range - $87,041 - $124,344

    The hourly or salary range is the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Washington. This range may be modified in the future. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable under the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans.
