    Benefit Services within S&C's Human Resources organization provides internal customers with a wide range of benefit related services. The Senior Benefit Services Administrator reports to the Director Benefit Services.

    Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Administering employee benefits such as Health, Dental or Vision Plans, S&C KSOP, long-term disability, etc. as assigned to include evaluating third-party administrator performance.
    • Developing S&C administrative manuals, standard work, and internal system-based programs to improve information management, benefits reporting, and program compliance.
    • Advising employees on complex benefits-related paperwork.
    • Preparing employee educational materials and conducting benefit-related educational meetings with employees.
    • Developing benefit-related policies and practices for review by Director.
    • Monitoring and reporting on legislative updates including changes to ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and HIPAA, etc to ensure compliance.
    • Performing periodic audits of benefits data to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
    • Researching benefit policies, practices, and survey data in support of new benefit offerings.
    • Implementing special initiatives such as the annual S&C Fund Raising Campaign, periodic benefits fairs, etc.
    • Overseeing specific Wellness Center offerings and Population Health Initiatives
    • Performing all the duties associated with the Benefit Services Administrator position.
    • Providing direction to the Benefit Services Administrator(s) as needed.
    To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have the following:
    • Ability to develop effective verbal and written communication tools explaining benefits within a diverse population.
    • Ability to apply excel, word, office systems, web portals, and system interfaces to benefits administration.
    • Ability to apply accounting skills within a benefits function.
    • Above average ability interpreting and applying benefit plan provisions and legislative changes.
    Relevant Experience Required:
    • 5+ years of experience in designing and administering multiple benefit plans, policies, procedures and benefit programs in compliance with applicable plan and legislative provisions. Work experience with third part administrators in national and global benefits. Knowledge of ADP Enterprise System desired.
