    Description

    Full-Time | Day Shift



    The Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for administering acute hemodialysis therapy. They will autonomously carry out crucial tasks in evaluating, starting, supervising, and concluding treatment in an acute hospital environment. The nursing care delivered is under the guidance and collaboration of the company's medical supervisor and in compliance with physician instructions, policies, and regulations at all levels of government.



    Education:



    • Consistent completion of mandatory continuous education to uphold an active RN license, alongside all pertinent training and educational sessions mandated by each affiliated hospital. Ensures retention of knowledge and stays updated on nephrology advancements.

    Requirement: Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (RN)


    Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing



    Experience:



    • Preferred: Six (6) months of Hemodialysis experience
    • Preferred: Acute Hemodialysis experience
    • Requirement: Successful completion of a hemodialysis theory and practice training program

    Licenses/Certifications:



    • Requirement: Current licensure in professional nursing from the Mississippi State Board of Nursing or compact RN license
    • Requirement: Current BLS (Basic Life Support); Preferred: Current ACLS
