Job summary
This role requires a Mobile Nurse Practitioner to cover the Indianapolis region of IN with a preference for candidates located near Indianapolis or surrounding areas. The position involves travel to Northern Indiana up to 1-2 times per month and may require overnight stays.We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with experience in older adults and/or chronic disease populations. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, be able to manage time effectively across multiple facilities and residents, and have excellent communication skills.
The compensation package includes an hourly rate of $85/hr (1099 independent contractor), mileage reimbursement of $0.725 per mile for distances over 30miles per day up to $200 per day, and training rate of $50/hour for required training including mandatory compliance training Avail Health technology training clinical documentation training
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing MSN DNP from an accredited program
- Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner FNP Adult-Gerontology NP
- Active unrestricted Nurse Practitioner Registered Nurse licensure in the state(s) of practice Licenses must remain current good standing throughout employment with Avail Health Minimum years years ,of experience working older adults /chronic disease populations Primary care geriatrics value-based care experience plus mobile long-term care setting preferred Strong organizational skills Proficiency electronic health records clinical documentation Commitment high-quality patient-centered care Current BLS certification Valid driver's license ability travel assigned locations Ability meet credentialing privileging background checks payer enrollment requirements Employment contingent satisfactory completion required background checks Compliance all applicable federal state organizational regulations governing clinical practice
