This position will manage the overall RMA and Refurbishment process as well as train, manage, and mentor the Service Technicians responsible for troubleshooting, and repairing complex mechanical, optical, and fluidic instrumentation for multiple instruments variations.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Manufacturing.Instrument refurbishments, document review, and instrument education Core Refurbishment, document review, and feedback Returned parts tracking and evaluation metrics Communicate expected forecast and demand refurbishments and field replacement units Assign tasks and monitor accountability.
Ensure priorities are communicated.Monitor metrics to drive areas of focus Review documentation Provide strategic guidance on building training Create and maintain departmental metrics Manage direct reports Assign tasks and maintain accountability of direct reports and functional teams Perform annual performance reviews and goal settings to support corporate goals and timelines Mentor direct reports with 1:1s and functional training Communicate the priority of projects and expectations for the functional teams Evaluate total demand and provide analysis on headcount to support corporate goals Monitor department budget Target Base Salary Range:
$105K-$145K Base salary is an integral part of NanoString's total compensation package. Base salary considers an individual's skills, experience, and competitive market value. The base salary range represent what NanoString pays for a job within a salary grade based on external market data in comparison to similar positions from other companies in our industry. Employees generally enter a salary grade at the lower-to-mid-point in the range. Other compensation elements include a discretionary annual bonus, incentive compensation for sales roles, Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grants for all new hires, comprehensive benefit plans and paid time off, including designated holidays.
