This position is based at The Terraces at Los Altos, which is a continuing care retirement community. Our community has been named one of the Best Nursing Homes of by US News and World Report

In this position, you would perform all standard beauty salon services such as styling, cutting, dyeing, shampooing, permanent waves, etc.

with special consideration given for the needs of an aging population.


Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; 9am - 5pmPay: $23-29/hour
Work Duties

Performs hair styling duties;
Performs haircuts, hair dyes, permanent waves, shampoos, etc.
Schedules appointments and completes billing form; completes charge slips and conveys to business/administration office;
Conducts work tasks safely and in compliance with the facility safety program;
Promotes and protects the rights of each resident;

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Vocational education/technical training in beauty/cosmetology school

3 to 5 years' prior experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

Cosmetology License is required
Previous experience providing services to seniors highly preferred
