- Manage and lead a team of engineers and machinist, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project requirements and objectives
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues
- Oversee the design and development of mechanical components and systems
- Utilize CAD software and CMM to create detailed schematics and models
- Perform data analysis to evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Experience with programming languages such as C++ is highly desirable
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards
- Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
