    Fulfills the needs of the patients, families and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.

    Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner.
    Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age-appropriate care.

    Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients' needsDemonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patientsMakes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidence by appropriate documentationPerforms initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidence by appropriate documentationCompletes admission assessment in time frame established, according to policy and proceduresSkills:
    NIHSS, BLS & ACLS - RequiredCPI - Required (Must be Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training course)

    BSN - Highly desiredCurrent license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - RequiredMed/Surg Experience - Required: 2 YearsRN Experience - Required: 2 YearsEducation: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program - RequiredBSN - Highly desired

    Certification:
    Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
