    job summary:
    We are searching for a Mechanical Engineer or Designer in the St. Louis, MO area. Experience with Solidworks is preferred, and experience within the marine or defense industry is a plus but not required.

    This is a direct hire role with the opportunity for growth.

    responsibilities:

    • Develop new mechanical designs for rotating machinery, structural aluminum weldments, and steel castings by way of modifying previous designs and/or creating from scratch.

    • Prepare detailed production drawings and modify existing drawings as necessary.

    • Review drawings for accuracy and formatting before submitting to Engineering Manager for approval.

    • Create customer approval drawings as required.

    • Assist with Engineering Change Notices as required.
