    Job Description
    • On-Call 24/7 to assist with Emergency Disasters
    • Boarding up windows, doors, or other openings that require covering
    • Use of hand tools and power tools
    • Lifting and carrying heavy objects such as lumber, plywood, and other building materials
    • Measure and mark cutting lines to specific dimensions
    • Keeping Board Up vehicle, clean, stocked, and well-maintained
    • Assist with Business Development such as transporting the vehicle to events, parades, etc.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Professionally represent the PD principles of honesty and integrity
    • Work at the direction of the Emergency Response Team and Business Development team
    • Proactive communication with management and team leaders
    • Show up clean, work clean, leave work area cleaner than it was when you arrived, and clean up after yourself
    • Restock supplies
    • Jobsite security and safety
    • Must Have Valid Driver's License
    • Must Be Able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings
    Education: High School Diploma or Higher

    Experience: Entry Level Carpentry Skills

    Physical Demands:
    • Lift (constantly) 5-40 lbs., lift (frequently lbs.
    • Ability to be On-Call at all times (24/7)
    • May involve significant stand/walk/ push/pull.
    • Climbing (ladders, etc.), balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling.
    • Being comfortable with multi-story ladder work
    • Ability to work in confined spaces.
    • Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat.
    • Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent times.
    • Exposure to fumes from solvents and chemical solutions.
    Reports to: Emergency Response Manager

    Shift: Will vary based on when calls come in.
