Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the care of patients in the ICU and PCU, providing high-quality nursing care, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including hemodynamic status and ventilator support.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Assist providers with bedside procedures, such as chest tube insertions and intubations.
• Perform bedside shift reports and participate in nurse leader rounding.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have experience in a Medical ICU in a large facility.
• Comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
• Advanced skills in critical care pharmacology, central line management, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS required.
