They collaborate with offshore development teams, advise subordinate supervisors, administer budgets and schedules, and provide leadership for product development initiatives.

    Job Summary & Requirements

    Job Duties:
    • Take responsibility for all projects within the department.
    • Collaborate with offshore development teams.
    • Provide guidance to subordinate supervisors or staff members.
    • Participate in establishing and administering functional projects.
    • Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
    • Provide leadership and support for product development initiatives.
    • Collaborate with other functional groups to define product content/feature set and system/process requirements.
    • Monitor progress/results and identify areas for improvement.
    • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel for efficient operation.
    • Possess expertise in RF (HF and UHF), FPGA design, regulatory compliance, digital, and analog design.
    • Drive innovation within the team.
    Education:
    • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
    Experience:
    • 5+ years in leading development teams.
    • Successful development and release of products and solutions.
    • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with New Product Development (NPD) processes.
    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
    • Circuit design for digital and RF/UHF technology.
    • Understanding FPGA design and programming.
    • Antenna design for RF/UHF technology.
    • Wireless communication technology.
    • Understanding of RFID technology.
    • PCB design and manufacturing expertise.
    • Regulatory (FCC, IC, CE and etc) and Safety requirement
    • Project planning includes resource handling with internal and external resources.
    • KPI settings for the teams.
    • Finding ways to improve the time to market.
    • Sense of urgency.
    • Question-mark everything and find new ways to do things.
