CORPORATE INFORMATION SERVICES
Summary

This role will work closely with business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to identify business needs, define key metrics, develop requirements, and design reports and dashboards that support data driven decisions.

The successful candidate will possess knowledge or be able to learn the business operations and apply this knowledge when developing solutions.

This position requires in-office attendance in one of these locations in the United States, two days per week (Minnetonka, MN or Plano, TX).

Remote candidates are not being considered.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

With general direction, responsible to

Formulate and define objectives and scope of work through independent research and fact-finding; maintains an understanding of applicable database, data analysis or data development best practices.

Apply continuously updated skills and knowledge to use, design or modify moderately complex databases, data analysis requirements and data development projects.

Work with project teams and hold responsibility for the completion of all phases of a project.
Provide guidance and training to less-experienced team members.
Other duties as assigned or required.

Expertise

Competent to work in all phases of database administration, data analysis and data development lifecycles; maintains considerable awareness of the implications of changes before execution.

Experience

Typically has 3-7 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills

Advanced knowledge of Power BI including data modeling, transformations, and visualizations concepts.
Extensive use of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) functions.

Advanced knowledge of SQL including writing queries for analysis and validation as well as creating objects such as views, stored procedures and functions as needed to support data source development.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields; or equivalent work experience.
