- You will work as an independent senior level member of the N1 Directorate.
- You will gather information from higher headquarters, other command elements, command senior management and other affected activities.
- You will identify critical human capital issues and goals for the organization.
- You will develop implementation plans that consider personnel, budget, manpower and other management requirements.
- You will provide recommendations and proposed plans to senior management.
- You will present formal and informal presentations pertaining to Human Capital issues.
- You will analyze mission, management objectives and organizational goals, projecting personnel needs and potential problems.
- You will provide advice and assistance to senior leadership regarding loss of skilled employees, recruitment and hire lag problems, expansion or decrease in mission.
- You will perform on-going studies and analysis to access position structure trends and curtail problems.
- You will recommend approval, modification, or disapproval of proposed position/organizational structures.
- You will work closely with the Fleet Human Resources Office (FLTHRO) and Office of Civilian Human Resources Operations Center staff.
- You will develop, analyze, evaluate, and advise on the effectiveness of all assigned program areas.
- You will provide human capital program advice and guidance to both Staff senior level managers (including SES and Flag level) and subordinate commands.
- You will work closely with the Executive Management Program Office (EPMO) and Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (ASN(M/RA) staff on senior executive personnel matters.
