HOW A GEOSPATIAL SYSTEMS SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACTSPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Customize, deploy, and test enterprise GIS applicationsAssess and support Risk Management Frameworks for tasks related to authentication and authorizationProvide accesses based on user roles and user types in ArcGIS EnterprisePerform software development in Python, C#, C++, HTML, and JavaScript and write software documentation to design specifications (user manuals, technical updates in GitLab, use of SharePoint, etc.) supporting the technical editor team and configuration managementDesigns and implements geospatial data acquisition, cleaning, preparation, and conversion proceduresEnsures the stability, integrity and efficient operation of systems associated with AI/ML/DLImplements and monitors model benchmarks for training data management and model accuracyParticipate in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) programs and oversee design and code reviews, database reviews, and other QA/QC activities throughout the project life cyclePerform detailed software design and detailed database conversion design, and are directly involved in the coding and implementation of the more complex and strategic portions of application software and database conversion projectsWHAT YOU'

Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, sciences or other businessGIS related field experience and years of technical experienceBackground in requirements analysis, design, and software development methodologies; documentation standards; configuration management; DoD software policies; and DoD test and evaluation requirements; distributed systems, modeling and simulation, and resource utilization assessment.
