37 hours/day (Weekdays), 27 hours/day (Weekends)
8a–5p, 11a–8p, 5p–2a, 11a–9p (Mon–Fri PIT)

Physician Coverage:
40 MD hours/day
6a–2p, 8a–4p, 2p–10p, 4p–1a, 10p–6a
(Monday shifts extended 30 mins)
APP Coverage:
20 hours/day (Weekdays), 10 hours/day (Weekends)
11a–9p (7 days/week + PIT)

Physician Coverage:
24 MD hours/day

Position Overview:
Cross-credential once, work at
three central Alabama EDs
High-volume emergency departments (avg. 74–97 patients/day)
Advanced practice support with dedicated PIT models (at two sites)
Fast-track models in place at applicable locations
Flexible shift options:
days, nights, and swing shifts available
Long-term stability with consistent monthly scheduling
Candidate Requirements:
Licensure:
Active Alabama Medical License & Unrestricted DEA
Board Certification:
