Your Experience and Skills
Required Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem solving skills
Commercial awareness (financial principles)
Creative and innovative
Computer skills:
Solid Works, MS Office, Outlook 365
Self-motivated
Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering required
4-10 years work experience in engineering/and or industrial manufacturing
Demonstrated clear understanding of mechanical fabrications and assembly process fundamentals.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP concepts and processes
Understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, and systems
Experience with electromechanical equipment, PLC and electronics preferred.
Hands on involvement with product testing, as needed.
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods
Must be able to work in front of the computer for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25lbs
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Summary and Your Tasks
Summary:
Provide engineering expertise during product manufacturing and fabrication processes to ensure product is made in conformance with customer design/specification requirements.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Troubleshoot manufacturing bottlenecks, constraints. disposition in process product non conformance.
Interact with Operations to ensure product completeness and conformities.
Act as liaison between design engineering and operations, provide feedback from operations and procurement team to the design and product engineering group, including as built redlines, recommended alternate materials and processes
Review Operations, Bill of Materials, and provide solutions to assist in meeting delivery and shipment targets.
Prepare, train, and maintain manufacturing processes documentation and Standard Operating Procedures, as needed.
Participate in design to cost projects, including manufacturing product, as needed.
Reconcile as built with as designed features of product.
Any other duties that we reasonably require you to do to enable the running of an efficient and effective team environment.
