    We are looking for a self motivated, energetic, MATERIALS TECHNICIAN with a track record of unparalleled professionalism, integrity, and loyalty to join our team. The Materials Technician is responsible for dealing directly with the customers and suppliers on complex issues of material supply and record balance. In addition, the Materials Technician is responsible for investigating and resolving balance issues that cannot be resolved at the level of his/her direct reports. The ideal candidate MUST be able to demonstrate the following:

    • Manage inventory using a min-max methodology
    • Determine inbound windows to ensure a smooth flow of material
    • Maintain the layout for all material received and manage material flow using scanning technology to route and deliver material
    • Manage returnable containers to suppliers
    • Manage engineering change process to ensure breakpoints are achieved effectively
    • Participate and engage in continuous improvement activities
    • Manage overflow situations effectively
    • Communicate and interact with internal and external customer to resolve issues
    • Teambuilding skills
    • Involved in Multi-disciplinary Five Phase Problem Solving Teams that directly drives company's Continuous Improvement Process and Policies
    • Responsible for On the Job Training and Keep proper documentation and records
    • Promote and maintain a safe working environment
    • Enforce company policies/ procedures and corresponding work instructions
    • Additional tasks or functions as assigned by the Plant Manager
    • Completes Weekly Layered Audits
    • Monitor supplier non-conformances and issue PRRs accordingly
    • Monitor inbound loads for timeliness
    • Monitor all gains and losses and react as necessary
    • Training of SSA/CMC Clerks, MinMax Supervisors, and Material Clerks
    • Update materials records to keep their integrity
    • Supervise inventories, oversee the up keeping of visuals for each part
    • Oversee EWO changes
    • Work directly with customer Materials Department to ensure timely delivery of parts
    • Notify appropriate personnel of changes needed
    • Monitor/oversee carrier claims
    • Oversee compliance of processes with established company policies and standards, such as property personnel practices, security, and record keeping procedure
    Qualifications MUST include intermediate experience of the following to be considered:
    • SAP
    • Excel
    • RF Scanner
    • Inventory Control / Shipping & Receiving in a Warehouse or Manufacturing Facility
