    Job Description:

    The Reliability Engineer plays a pivotal role in implementing and advancing reliability best practices within the organization. This position requires a strong foundation in reliability engineering and a demonstrated ability to drive improvements through strategic analysis and problem-solving techniques.

    Must Have Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in reliability engineering.
    • Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies, including root cause analysis.
    • 4 years experience with predictive maintenance technologies.
    • 4 years experience examining defects and issues identified during PM and PdM activity
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience with SAP PM.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Familiarity with maintenance management systems and tools.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and implement opportunities for enhancing equipment reliability through procedural enhancements, maintenance protocol adjustments, and equipment upgrades.
    • Utilize historical equipment data to identify trends and areas for reliability enhancement.
    • Apply root cause analysis methodologies to investigate and address issues leading to machine downtime or increased maintenance costs.
    • Contribute to the selection and deployment of new equipment, ensuring reliability and maintainability principles are integrated into the design and implementation phases.
    • Support Autonomous Maintenance initiatives by assisting in the design and selection of operator inspections and tasks to uphold equipment performance.
    • Advocate for proactive maintenance strategies, emphasizing the importance of planned corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance over reactive approaches.
    • Participate in audits to assess and validate progress in the reliability improvement journey.
    • Leverage reliability-centered maintenance principles to optimize equipment maintenance strategies.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert for the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), offering guidance and support to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
    • Champion the facility's root cause analysis (RCA) process, leading failure analyses to identify corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
    • Collaborate with reliability engineers across multiple sites to share insights and solutions from failure analyses.
    • Monitor equipment Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) to identify opportunities for reliability enhancement.
    • Analyze defects and issues identified during preventive and predictive maintenance activities to optimize maintenance procedures.
    • Contribute to the design and installation of new and modified equipment, considering reliability implications.
    • Assist in spare part management to ensure adequate stocking levels and mitigate risks of obsolescence.
    • Introduce and implement tools and techniques for preventive and predictive maintenance activities, prescribing maintenance frequencies through CMMS maintenance plans.
    • Provide training and support for precision maintenance processes, such as alignment and balancing.
    • Develop and oversee a comprehensive lubrication program, monitoring performance and execution.
    • Support autonomous maintenance activities and provide skills training to operations team members.
    • Drive proactive performance by supervising planners and participating in scheduling activities.
    • Ensure CMMS users are proficient in system utilization and conduct audits to maintain system integrity.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP PM within the plant.
