    JOB TITLE: Behavioral Health Nurse

    STATUS: Regular Full-Time

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Job Description Upon Demand)
    • Handles confidential information requiring professional discretion and compliance with protected health information, data integrity and security policies.
    • Assists in maintain patient records.
    • Confers with families, agencies, and pharmacies regarding patient care.
    • Provides oversight and assists in determining the needs of the patient.
    • Acts as a liaison between the medical provider and the patient for refill requests and other patient needs.
    • Manages emergency situations with patients in the office.
    • Supervises the process of prescription prior authorization.
    • Performs selected nursing and administrative duties and assists the physician as part of the clinical team.
    • Administers medication injections as needed and draws blood to check for certain levels
    • Other clinical or administrative duties as assigned to meet practice needs.
    QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma | State of Nebraska Current Medication Aid | Preferred Proficient in Phlebotomy & Injection Skills | Proficient Medical Terminology | Familiar with EMR Systems

    EXPERIENCE: Direct patient care in a high-volume clinic setting preferred
