      • Certification: Special Education Teacher Certification - Cross Cat
    2. Special Education Teacher
      • Grade Levels: 6th-8th Graders
      • Students: 20-24
      • Disability: SLD and Autism (Mild)
      • Instruction: 1:1 and Small Groups
      • Behavior Familiarity Required
      • Responsibilities: Manage caseload of IEPs, Lesson Planning, and Compliance
      • Certification: Special Education Teacher Certification - Cross Cat or LD
    3. Special Education Teacher
      • Age Range: 3-5 years
      • Schedule: Students attend 4 days AM & PM Session (3hrs each day), Thursday-Planning Prep & IEP
      • Support: Classroom has two other adults
      • Caseload Size: 20-24
      • Disability Types: DD, PSD (Mild, Mod & Severe)
      • Instruction: 1:1 and Small Groups
      • Behavior Familiarity Required
      • Responsibilities: Manage caseload of IEPs, Lesson Planning, and Compliance
      • Certification: Special Education Teacher Certification - Cross Cat, Early Childhood endorsed, or certificate

    Job Description: The Phoenix School District is currently seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers (SPED) to join our team for the remainder of the school year. The selected candidates will work with students across various grade levels and settings, providing individualized instruction and support to meet their unique learning needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
    • Provide direct instruction and support in 1:1 and small group settings.
    • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, IEPs, and compliance.
    • Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and school-based activities.
