- Conduct thorough search to produce title abstract reports for each title request
- Prepare preliminary title reports and complete title bringdowns, reporting any discrepancies from initial title search
- Maintain current local jurisdiction's conveyance list of developers, builders, etc. for reference
- Update database files for each subdivision plan
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to read/review lengthy documents for up to several hours per day
- At least 1 year of working in an office environment
- Proficient with Microsoft suite, especially Excel program.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task

NOTE: For the first 6 months this role will be fully in-office. You must live near Fairfax, VA. After that it will be hybrid with 1 -2 days in office per week. Recruit Right Strategies is seeking detail oriented introverts to become Title Abstractors for a major home builder/mortgage company. No experience is necessary, but you must be able to work independently, reading documents for long periods of time, with great attention to detail. This is a very solitary, isolated role.
As a Title Abstractor, you're responsible for the completion of title abstract orders and requests to help ensure customers' successful settlement on their new home.
