This is more than a job it's calling responsible for developing and maintaining cost effective maintenance and monitoring programs for inventory in order to maximize usage and minimize expenses resolves various procurement issues including but not limited to vendor disputes invoice discrepancies expedited processing of emergency orders handling damaged or defective product develops maintains systems to track inventory age overstocks vendor exchanges collaborates with corporate purchasing to review purchase requisitions verify necessity of orders place orders ensure vendor delivery regularly produces reviews usage cost reports management corporate purchasing manager builds maintains working relationships vendors verifies reconciles vendor credits exchanges product ensures that vendor contracts loaded correctly computer systems
