    Job Responsibilities
    This position is located within the Insurance Reserve Fund (IRF) Division.

    Applicant will use their ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and accomplish the daily completion of essential tasks that is referred to as the daily work.

    Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. They will also be able to enter data quickly and accurately.

    Must have proficiency in MS 365, Microsoft Word, Excel and open to learning new technology an imaging system and insurance database.

    Will work under general supervision of the assistant Director of Underwriting but must have enough initiative to complete daily tasks in an organized and efficient manner and report any disruptions to daily work promptly to supervisor or other manager that is available.


    Processes daily work generated by the printing of all books of business and renewal notices, endorsements, etc., ensuring all declarations pages, renewal worksheets, or endorsements are complete and accurate.

    Maintain daily work log to verify work processed.


    Prepares underwriting files for imaging by collating copies of all policies, renewal worksheets, endorsements, applications and third parties/certificates of insurance with the supporting documents prepared by underwriters or field agents to ensure documentation is available for future reference.

    Ensures that the work for the daily properly downloaded in imaging. Maintains historical underwriting records and policy forms.

    Processes requests from insureds, underwriters/field agents and claims department. Completes data entry and proofs renewals, endorsements, and applications for Tort, Automobile, Property, or Inland marine policies as assigned. Prepares certified copies of policies as needed.

    Responsible for providing policy forms, letters or other information needed by an underwriter or field agent to respond to a request from an insured.


    Minimum and Additional Requirements
    A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
