Job Summary The Psychology Department at Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) seeks applicants for Lecturer positions beginning August 1, 2024.
We are an institution that values and encourages innovative teaching.
In addition to teaching, applicants are expected to actively participate in extensive student engagement, and service to the college and community.
Advising and mentoring are expected of all faculty.Successful candidates for Lecturer positions will be expected to teach a 5/5 load of lower-division, general education courses, unless the need arises in a specialty area of the candidate's scholarship.
Applicants should show a strong interest in teaching courses in APA-style writing, statistics, and research methods.Required Qualifications Master's degree in the teaching discipline; or a Master's degree with 18 graduate credits in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications Terminal degree in the teaching discipline.1 year college level teaching experience.
