    Job Summary:

    The Finance Analyst will collect and analyze financial information related to the organizations expenses, seeking ways to improve accuracy of budgets and forecasts, and to decrease the cost of assigned departments and projects.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    None

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Analyzes expenses and cost transactions; ensures that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and departments.

    Maintain standard cost system process and methodologies

    Review, calculate, and and update standard costs as needed to ensure accuracy of inventory valuations

    Balance warehouse system to accounting system and monitor integrity of inventory data

    Prepares Financials monthly with explanation of variances

    Provides detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, includes breakdowns of project costs, forecasts of remaining expenses, and opportunities to increase efficiency.

    Prepares periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs.

    Prepares quarterly profitability workbooks by Customer, part number, etc.

    Prepares Customer Profitability review templates as requested

    General knowledge of Budget / Forecasting tools and processes

    Prepares Customer Profitability review templates as requested

    Supports other Departments as needed

    Create or update SOP's on all standardized work

    Cross Train others all standard processes as Directed

    Assist in Audits - Financial, Inventory, JSOX, etc.

    Performs other related duties, as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    Excellent analytical skills.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software as well as accounting software.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business required.

    At least three years of related experience required.
