Key Responsibilities of the VP of Supply Chain:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Lead the procurement team to identify and qualify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.

Collaborate with production, sales, and logistics teams to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

Oversee inventory management processes to minimize stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and optimize inventory turnover.
Implement metrics and KPIs to measure supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all supply chain operations.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions, geopolitical issues, and natural disasters.
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and implement process improvements.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain management.

Qualifications of the VP of Supply Chain:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in supply chain management, with at least 10 years of progressive leadership roles.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies to support business objectives.
Experience in procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain optimization tools.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead teams through change.
