    The Senior Director, Treasury responsible for corporate liquidity, risk management, cash flow positions, and related borrowing needs, and ensures that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements. This is a greenfield approach to build from the ground up the a new Treasury function for JenCare. The Senior Director, receives general direction from the Controller and Chief Financial Officer who holds the incumbent responsible for the effective management of financial activities and for the professional management of Finance personnel.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Directs the formulation of financial policy for JenCare; reviews existing policies and modifies updates and revises as necessary.
    • Directs and monitors accounting areas, including Treasury operations and cash flow, risk management and reporting.
    • Guides the preparation of all necessary financial reports, including financial reports required for external banks with debt covenant calculations and certificates.
    • Oversees all audits, including full year financial statement audits as well as IRS and other regulatory audits as applicable.
    • Analyzes and presents financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicates monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
    • Assists in the annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the Controller; monitors progress and changes; and keeps senior leadership team abreast of the organization's financial status.
    • Directs and manages tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for income taxes.
    • Directs the preparation of cash flow positions, cash forecasts, and related borrowing needs, and ensures that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
    • Maintains banking relationships and directs and manages debt financing.
    • Delegate the authority to subordinates as necessary to complete responsibilities in various financial management functions.
    • Leads and coordinates the funding for subsidiaries, including loans and capital contributions.
    • Makes decisions regarding hiring, discipline and promotion of subordinates; conducts employee performance reviews; exercises authority for the COEs' personnel actions consistent with personnel rules and all other applicable rules and regulations.
    • Other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Advanced knowledge of the principles of finance, accounting, budgeting and auditing, including knowledge of internal control systems and their application to the development and installation of accounting systems
    • Thorough knowledge of computer accounting systems, operating activities and fiscal programs
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, to assure comprehension of complex financial concepts by senior management
    • Ability to use advanced professional knowledge of finance and accounting to formulate financial policy to subordinates in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

    • Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience required; Master's degree preferred
    • Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of progressive professional accounting and managerial experience are required
    • Public accounting experience required
    • CPA Certification required; Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) a plus
    • Proficient in Accounting and financial-related computer software, as well as the Microsoft Office suite of products
