Join Our Team as a Part-time Food Service Worker at Veterans Canteen Service!

Starting Hourly Wage: $17.62

This is a Temporary Not to Exceed (NTE) 1-year position.

The Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) based in Ann Arbor, MI, at the VA Medical Center, is looking for part-time Food Service Workers to deliver exceptional service to our nation's veterans.

Job Details:

Prepare coffee, Latte, cappuccino, smoothies
Handle food preparation including sandwiches, wraps, pancakes, burritos, and more
Maintain cleanliness in work areas and equipment
Follow food safety procedures and guidelines
Handle food storage to prevent spoilage
Work in varying temperatures

Requirements:

Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to follow instructions and perform basic arithmetic for food preparation
Minimum of one year experience in the food service industry
Capable of continuous standing, walking, and bending
Able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
