    Role:

    To manage the branch operations and staff for one branch location. Lead branch staff, ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, sales, service and loan growth plans. Ensure that members are provided great service. Coach employees and execute with excellence to meet/exceed employee and branch goals. Ensures active participation by all team members to meet branch WIG program, lead measures, and commitments.


    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    Oversees the operation of a Branch, including ensuring all branch performance goals are met. Maintains a highly productive staff and actively engages in monitoring branch performance. Available to assist employees and members with issues and concerns. Oversees all hiring, training and scheduling of branch staff.

    Directs, develops, motivates, hires and disciplines branch personnel; administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions. Coach each representative regularly and review sales activities. Shadow and monitor and suggest training needs to the Training department as necessary. Set and monitor monthly goals for each employee.

    Conducts WIG meetings and positively motivates and inspires all branch employees to achieve assigned WIG goals, lead measures, and commitments.

    Enthusiastically motivates staff to offer payment protection products to Credit Union members. Responsible for promoting Payment Protection Products, GAP, and MBI and additional products as requested.

    Maintains communications with main office; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings.

    Actively develops the branch within a 3 to 5 mile radius around the branch. Represent the branch with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups. Actively involved in community development by promoting Bank at Work, Community Card and other partnership opportunities.

    Monitors all branch activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures.

    Performance Measurements:

    1.

    Exceeding branch WIG expectations, including lead measures and commitments to achieve the established individual loan and member goal. Directly involved with leading and engaging team in weekly meetings making adjustments as required to meet minimum expectations.

    2.

    Coaching and mentoring team members to meet or exceed the established expectations of selling ancillary products as well as additional products and services utilizing Co-Pilot Program.

    Coaching employees to assist them in execution and accountability of branch and individual goals.

    3.

    To execute with excellence utilizing the 4DX system to meet or exceed budgeted monthly production goals for the branch.

    4.

    To maintain and develop a qualified staff sufficient to meet the needs of the members utilizing member contacts to educate our members on our products and services.

    Ensure employee performance reviews are completed in a timely manner but not later than two weeks within their due dates.


    5.

    To develop the market in a - 5 mile radius of the branch.

    To represent the branch in a positive manner and attend various community events and functions in order to develop relationships in the community and increase credit union growth.


    6.

    To keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the branch.

    7.

    To maintain branch turnover rate to 30% or less.

    8.

    To stay current and comply with all federal and state regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") and all credit union policies and procedures.


    Knowledge and Skills:

    Experience

    Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

    Education

    (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

    Interpersonal Skills

    Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.

    Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

    Other Skills

    Ability to make decisions with minimum information. Must have good communication skills both written and verbal. Good judgement and analytical skills. General office skills, including ability to operate a 10 key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard.
