    Position is primarily public-facing and entails communicating politely and effectively with customers seeking a wide range of services. Issues marriage/civil union licenses. Determines eligibility and executes requests for various vital records. Processes applications for Assumed Business Name registrations. Supports the Tax Department by assisting taxpayers with delinquent tax payments. Issues ballots, answers elections questions, and assists voters as needed during election periods.

    Supports other departments and performs any and all other duties as assigned, while focusing on maintaining the office's high standard of excellent customer/public service.

    Minimum QualificationsBilingual-English/Spanish required. Prior customer service experience, preferably in a public office setting. Excellent technical skills with a demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of programs and databases. Ability to work limited evening and weekend hours to accommodate modified work schedules during election cycle. Valid driver's license with minimum liability insurance required by law.
