    Description

    We are looking for:
    The Project Engineer will be responsible for the preparation, management, and execution of capital projects at the Augusta, GA site

    We count on you for:
    Complete conceptual project studies including Font End Loading development, preliminary scope development, cost estimates, and schedules.


    Execute and manage all aspects of approved capital projects including engineering design, procurement, and generation of purchase orders, contractor work package development, health and safety plans for construction, construction coordination, startup and commissioning, managing project costs and project schedules.


    Responsible for project budgets will be in the range of $50,000 – $2,000,000 and focus on sustaining process and capacity improvements.

    Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

    Control project costs by approving expenditures; working with purchasing to administer contractor contracts.

    Manage contractors during construction activities; ensure all safety requirements are met.

    Develop scope, cost estimates, and schedules for future capital and expense projects.

    Provide technical support for turnarounds in assigned areas and assists in the planning efforts.


    You will bring:
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering)

    Minimum of 7 years project management, construction management, or combination of these in industrial application preferred.

    Excellent written and oral communications skills.

    Familiar with industry standard project management techniques.

    Experience in leading a multi-functional project team.

    Experience in developing and managing the FEL process including project schedules and project costs.

    Working knowledge of safety hazard reviews and risk mitigation techniques.

    Experience developing contractor work packages, managing contracts and coordinating contractors.

    Proficient use of Excel, MS Word, MS Project, cost estimating programs, AutoCad.

    Experience in construction work practices and techniques

    Experience in piping design and standards

    Solid working knowledge of process operations.

    The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $100,000 to $136,320 per year.

    Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.

    Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
