- Coordinate and schedule the delivery of drywall materials and supplies to job sites.
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to determine delivery requirements and timelines.
- Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure an adequate supply of drywall materials.
- Track inventory levels and place orders for additional materials as needed.
- Arrange transportation logistics, including coordinating with trucking companies and drivers.
- Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of delivered materials, reporting any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, invoices, and other related documentation.
- Monitor and adhere to project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of drywall materials to support construction progress.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the efficiency of the logistics operations.
- Previous experience in construction logistics, expediting, or related fields.
- Solid understanding of drywall materials and their specifications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with logistics software or systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
