Job summary
This position is based in Waltham MA and is a Direct Hire position Pay between $20-$23+hr based on experience This role is available for the 2nd and 3rd shifts Laboratory Technologist responsibilities include but are not limited to following prescribed procedures performing any of the tests within any of the laboratory specialties calculating the results of the tests performed in necessary operating calibrating conducting performance checks maintaining any laboratory analyzers or equipment recognizing correcting basic analyzer malfunctions notifying management personnel when appropriate preparing reagents media from a prescribed procedure evaluating media reagents calibrators according to established criteria conducting established quality control procedures on analytical tests equipment reagents media products evaluating results of quality control implements corrective action when indicated determining performance specifications for new methods confirming verifying results through knowledge techniques principles analyzers monitoring quality assurance continuous improvement programs monitoring safety programs compliance laboratory regulations utilizing laboratory information systems other methods accurately effectively report patient results writing laboratory procedures conforming standardized format reporting test results conforming established procedures The ideal candidate would possess knowledge principles methods materials equipment techniques medical technology knowledge chemistry biology bacteriology related medical technology some knowledge recent developments field medical technology ability instruct subordinate technologist areas medical laboratoy testing ability perform assigned tasks according to prescribed procedures make accurate observations records test result skill use medical laboratoy equipement analytical thinking communication skills strong computer scientific organizational skills excellent communication oral written attention detail ability work independently part team self motivation adaptability positive attitude ability learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions comply company policies Qualifications Bachelor Science degree chemical physical biological clinical laboratoy science mediacal technologiy accredited institution authorization indefinite restriction sponsorship Additional Information Excellent full time benefits comprehensive mediacal coverage dental vision options life disabilty insurance companey match paid vacation holidays Please aware role will require access site requires COVID-19 vaccination exemption vaccination requirements prior starting work posotion employees must show proof full Covid-19 vaccnation exemption vaccination requirements Exemptions will granted warranted by mediacal contraindications disability religius beliefs Sustainable Talent M/F Disabled Veteran Equal Employment Opportuniy Affirmative Action employer}
