    Description

    We're on the lookout for a PA or NP to join Sentara Medical Group! We have an open position for an Advanced Practice Provider at Sentara Neurosurgery Specialists in Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. You'll be part of a skilled team that prioritizes quality, collaboration, and teamwork. Previous experience in neurosurgery or neuro-critical care is preferred.

    Educational background and requirements:

    • Graduation from a recognized physician assistant or nurse practitioner program
    • Master's degree completion
    • Current or in the process of obtaining a VA license and DEA license
    • Preference for at least one year of experience in neurosurgery or neuro-critical care

    Key aspects of this role:

    • Flexible schedule, including some weekends
    • Additional pay for nighttime and weekend shifts
    • Providing patient care across various settings such as ED, NCCU, trauma, and medical floors
    • Conducting urgent bedside procedures when necessary
    • Performing surgeries at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, and Carplex Hospital
    • Receive $3,000 annually for CME expenses
    • Annual Quality Performance Incentive of $5,000
    • Assistance with tuition repayment up to $10,000
    • Usage of fully integrated EHR system (Epic)
    • Comprehensive Benefits Package including Health and Disability coverage
    • Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
