    Description

    The FP&A Analyst, or Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, is responsible for providing financial and analytical support to the branches and corporate reporting to the private equity company. This position will be hands-on producing analysis and influencing strong financially informed decisions.

    Job Duties:

    · Provide analysis, recommendations and solutions related to the financial performance of the business

    · Prepare and deliver presentations related to financial results and plans for business partners across the organization

    · Collaborate with branches to identify, evaluate and prioritize projects and initiatives in order to determine the most optimal allocation of resources

    · Prepare ad hoc and recurring analyses that includes services, COGS, labor, benchmarking, and acquisition impacts

    · Maintain and build upon data sources, forecasting tools, and processes that power ongoing analysis

    · Analyze and report on metrics, analysis and KPIs that assist in providing leadership with insight as to what is impacting the business and guidance on the best course of action to optimize results

    · Independently develop process improvements resulting in the development of new technological ways to streamline and improve reporting efficiency

    Job Requirements:

    Proficiencies:

    • Exceptional analytical, problem-identification, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
    • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
    • Solid understanding and background of integrated financial and reporting systems, specifically Sage Intacct
    • Able to manipulate and leverage data into meaningful reporting.
    • Intellectual curiosity and professional ownership
    • Ability to package and present financial data/information in an executive manner focused on driving business decisions.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience: 1-2 years of finance experience; home services experience is preferred

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, Statistics, Data Science or other quantitative field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
