Job description
We are a busy cardiology practice in Rockville that is growing and looking for a full-time medical receptionist to join our amazing team. This position is Monday - Friday. No weekends and no late nights.
Experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right individual.
Most importantly, we're looking for candidates with the ability to multi-task, exceptional communication skills, a willingness to learn, and that work well within a team environment.
Major responsibilities include providing patient care and assisting with clinic administrative duties to help the office run smoothly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take vitals, including manual blood pressure
Perform EKG
Prep patients for exams, stress tests, and holter monitor
Document current medications in EHR
Stock and clean exam rooms/clinic
Answer clinic calls for medication refills, and labs; return messages
Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor, administrator, or providers
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma
Proficient in taking manual blood pressure and performing EKGs
Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant
COVID-19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment
Previous cardiology experience is a plus, but not a requirement
Previous experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus, but not a requirement
