    Description


    The Staff Accountant will be responsible for research and resolution of accounting issues, reconciliations, maintaining internal controls, and auditing the work of others to ensure timely and accurate financial closings as they relate to the Coffee business.

    Accountant will be responsible to accurately complete assigned projects, may build work procedures for other accountants, prepare reports for internal/external stakeholders and represent team on process improvement initiatives as needed.


    Responsibilities:


    Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual close process, prepare journal entries, analyze accounting transactions and perform reconciliationsPerform financial analysis and analyticsSupport the development of and adherence to internal control processesAssist with special requests and ad-hoc projectsProvide support and coverage for other accounting staff as necessaryPerform research and analysis to support accounting entriesCreate and maintain process documentationEnsure high performance results of your team by:Fostering a culture of trust and wellbeing that prioritizes the team and values employee contributions.
